Did you know that Budapest Christmas Market is one of the 10 most popular Christmas events in Europe? This attraction with lots of crafts, Christmas decorations, Christmas food and traditional Christmas programs are open from late November and Christmas eve. All products are hand made and is also approved by a special Christmas decorations committee. On th Christmas market Hungarian folk music is played and lots of good Hungarian Christmas food is eaten.
In addition Budapest offers many great shopping possibilities at malls and small shops in the center.

Program proposal:
Guests are staying at the 5 star hotel InterContinental Budapest, located right in the heart of town, next to the Danube, just 1 minute walk from the walking street Vaci utca. The rooms were renovated a few years ago in modern style. The historical Chain bridge, the famous Gerberaud Cafe and downtown shops are within walking distance from the hotel.
The first evening we invite you to a 3 course dinner in a trendy boat restaurant next to the Chain bridge with a fantastic view to the fortress area. On the 75-meter specialty built boat, traditional Hungarian dishes and famous international specialties are served.
During the program you can discover Budapest. An hour’s boat ride on the Danube shows you some of the secrets, interesting history and hidden beauties. The boat is covered by a glass roof and glass walls and in the winter it is heated. A drink is served on the boat, Champagne, white wine or beer.
